Police To Dock Dino Melaye, 4 Rearrested Suspects In Lokoja On May 10

Sen. Dino Melaye and the four suspects rearrested by the Police after they got away from guardianship will be charged for claimed trick and unlawful ownership of denied guns at the Federal High Court in Lokoja, Kogi on May 10, the Police said on Tuesday. The suspects are: Kabiru Seidu, 31, false name Osama, Nuhu Salisu, 25, moniker little, Musa Mohammed, 27, nom de plume Iko and Emmanuel Audu, 26.

The suspects are: Kabiru Seidu, 31, nom de plume Osama, Nuhu Salisu, 25, assumed name little, Musa Mohammed, 27, false name Iko and Emmanuel Audu, 26.

It will be reviewed the Police Command in Kogi had reported the escape of six suspects, including Seidu and Salisu, from its authority in Lokoja.

Nonetheless, the police said just four of the six suspects have been rearrested, as opposed to media reports.

The Force Spokesman, ACP Jimoh Moshood, told writers in Abuja that two of the suspects were still on the loose.

He, in any case, noticed that Seidu and Salisu, the foremost suspects in Senator Melaye's firearm case were rearrested in Tafa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State and Ganaja Village, Lokoja, Kogi.

Moshood said another six assistants captured by the police would be indicted with the rearrested suspects.

The suspects are John Beneche, 22, Seye Atowoju, 27 Danjuma Yunusa, 35 , Egga Ochai,50 Abbas Haruna, 30 and Gloria Audu, 28.

Seidu had apparently told the Police that Melaye gave him a sack containing one AK47 rifle, two pump activity weapons and N430,000.00 to impart to his young men while he was drawing in his as a political hooligan in Abuja.
