Obscure shooters have shot dead Samson Sedi, a pioneer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo state.
Sedi, the adolescent pioneer of the APC in the zone, was killed in Jattu on Wednesday.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Johnson Kokumo, affirmed the occurrence to Punch yesterday.
Kokumo said that the episode was being examined as an instance of murder as the casualty was not seized of his things.
The police official stated, "We are examining a murder case. We are not researching furnished theft. No one was seized in this specific case.
"In this way, what we are examining is kill and not outfitted theft. We have gotten things under way. Our men are out there and I guarantee you that, with knowledge drove policing, we will soon convey the guilty parties to book."
The State Governor Godwin Obaseki, denounced the executing, depicting it as "stunning."
Obaseki, in an announcement by his Special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy, Crusoe Osagie, additionally requested the capture and indictment of the executioners.
