Two presumes prior paraded by the police for illicit ownership of guns purportedly provided by Senator Dino Melaye have gotten away from guardianship. The suspects were confined by the Kogi State Police Command in Lokoja, the state capital, while examinations concerning their affirmations proceed.
Chief of Police in the state, Mr Ali Janga, who affirmed the escape to columnists on Wednesday, said the suspects and four others got away from authority in the early hours of the day.
The escaping suspects are Kabiru Seidu (nicknamed Osama), Nuhu Salisu (nicknamed Small), Aliyu Isa, Adams Suleiman, Emmanuel Audu and Musa Mohammed.
Mr Janga subsequently pronounced as needed, Senator Melaye and one Mohammed Audu and also the suspects on the run.

Police Declare Dino Melaye, Seven Others Wanted
The two suspects were paraded by the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, on March 19 who said they were a piece of a furnished group threatening occupants of the state.
