Trump declares US levies on $50 billion in Chinese imports
WASHINGTON :The Trump organization declared a 25 percent levy on up to $50 billion worth of Chinese imports on Friday, in a split second raising an exchange question between the world's two biggest economies.
China has said that it will counter with $50 billion in levies accordingly, rattling monetary markets.
Trump has promised to satisfy his crusade vow to get serious about what he fights are China's out of line exchange practices and endeavors to undermine U.S. innovation and licensed innovation. Amid an improvised appearance on the White House North Law, the president hailed his "enormous taxes" on China.
"You know we have the considerable intellectual prowess in Silicon Valley, and China and others take those insider facts. Also, we will ensure those insider facts. Those are royal gems for this nation," Trump said.
